Live and local programs are produced by a staff of more than 85 community volunteers. WIOX is an FCC licensed full power radio station. The station began broadcasting on August 27, 2010. The signal is sent from the studios at the former Masonic Lodge on Bridge Street in Roxbury at 91.3 FM, to wioxradio.org and to the backbone of your smartphone (apps: TuneIn, FM Radio, RadioFM, etc. ). Studios and transmitter locations are both outfitted with back-‐up electric generators.
